A storm of emotions that I cannot weather

Yet my heart was once heavy, ‘tis now light as a feather

But light metaphorically, the pain still lingers

Caught in life’s pincers, poisoned by love’s stingers

Counting up failures on toes, hairs and fingers

Thoughts and feelings raging, I should be on Jerry Springer

The world was my airplane, but now the Black Hawk’s down

Landing in the Bermuda triangle without a sound

Boxing with fate forever, going pound for pound

Trapped in the spiral of life, just spinning ‘round and ’round

The crossroads, paths to light and darkness

One for the Angels and one for the Heartless

Look both ways and make my choice

And now I regret being stuck in this void
